Happy Wednesday!

Remember that this is a workshop class, and you can do whatever you want, but the following are my suggestions for today:

1.   Typing lessons

2.   Practice the past tense in Side By Side -
Side By Side 1B,   segment 25,   Lessons: 25.1- 25.8

3.  Past tense quiz:

Common verb list:

4.   Conversation - Talk to a partner
Did you exercise yesterday?
Did you have eggs for breakfast?
Did you have cereal for breakfast?
Did you move to San Francisco before 2003?
Did you listen to music this morning?
Did you go shopping last weekend?
Did you watch the Super Bowl?
Tell your partner five things that you did before class today.
How did you feel on the day that you came to the United States?

5.   Click on the following link to go to a story about a dog. The story is written in the present tense, but it really should be in the past tense. Copy the whole story and paste it into a Microsoft Word document. Then change all of the verbs to the past tense.

6.  A beautiful video about the history of the Cliff House.

The words go very fast, but remember that you can use the pause button to stop the video anytime.
